advanced open water class

The SDI, PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course helps you increase your confidence and build your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water. 

This course builds on what you’ve learned and develops new capabilities by introducing you to new activities and new ways to have fun scuba diving.

 Upon completion of this course you will be certified to dive down to a recommended depth of 100ft (60-75 ft for Juniors). 

 

COURSE DETAILS

The knowledge development component is completed via the SDI PADI Adventures in Diving eLearning program. You work at home at your own pace with this convenient, interactive study program. Out of the 5 required adventure dives, 2 are mandatory: the Deep and Underwater Navigation Adventure dives. The other 3 dives are elective that you can choose with the guidance of your instructor: Boat Diving, Digital Underwater Imaging, Drift Diving, Fish Identification, Night Diving (when available), Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search & Recovery Diving, Underwater Naturalist & Wreck Diving (when available).

Advanced Open Water in the Florida Freshwater Springs $475

This option is for students who would like to do their class in the local freshwater springs. This is the most economical & convenient way to do your class. This price includes the entrance fees for the dives. (SDI +$475, PADI +$550)

Advanced Open Water in the ocean off the Florida coast $750

This option is for students that want the best dive experience seeing reefs, wrecks, sharks, and so much more. Includes 4 boat dives and a shore dive. Nitrox is required(SDI $750, PADI $850)

Tag along deal Advanced Open Water $350

Tag Along includes Advanced E-learning and Instructor fees only.

Advanced Adventure dives are integrated into local dive trips, and events. (SDI +$350, PADI +$375)

Course Cost: 

Course Cost includes all instruction by our SDI, PADI Certified Instructor, access to the SDI, PADI Adventures in Diving eLearning program & certification ecard upon completion of the course. Use of rental gear (regulator, BCD, dive computer & wetsuit) is not included but is available at standard rental rates.

ENRICHED AIR NITROX ADD-ON $125

  • Required By most off shore dive operations.
