Have you ever dreamed of traveling to exotic places and does the unknown intrigue you? We know that feeling well.
As our own interest in the underwater world grew, we found ourselves anxious to share our love of the ocean with others. Avandra Dive Adventures was created to offer education, experience, and community to people new and old to scuba diving.
We are a family owned dive operation. My wife, myself, and our 4 children 14, 13, twin 10 year old’s are all avid divers.
Our goal is to help encourage interest and participation in diving by creating a community of like minded individuals.
Diving is not a solo sport, we challenge you to bring along your family and friends. A family that plays together, stay’s together.

I love the water and everything about it. My wife and I have raised our family on adventures and excitement. They are all involved and support me in running a safe and enjoyable business. I look forward to seeing you out there on the water.
Why do I want to be your dive instructor? As my dive experience grew I could see a growing need in the dive community for new divers to be able to learn and gain experience diving by interacting with other divers in the community. There are a lot of questions about where to dive, who to dive with, what gear to buy, the list goes on and on. As a divemaster I helped instructors get students through the class safely, and successfully. Student’s had a great time during the class, unfortunately many Open Water students did not go on to continue diving. And I get it Dive gear is expensive, traveling is expensive, and dive buddies are hard to come by.
That’s just not the truth. Dive gear is made very well and slightly used gear can be found at a bargain. The beginner sets of cheap gear are great. There and many free or nearly free dive sites. Lots of deals for small groups as well. Then there are low budget travel options also. In order to make all these options possible is getting involved in the dive community. We all know how to go diving and have fun with out breaking the bank.
And that my friends is why I became an instructor and is why I want to be your instructor.
